Hi Gustavo,
I'm now venturing Test2 - MySQL version. Please help.

You have some alternatives:
1. Continue with your tblPerdition and populate it, so that user
column has the domain, hostname column has the localIP and port
column
you leave empty (supposing your real pop/imap servers listen to
standard ports).
Then you would do (supposing you have mysql perdition library in
/usr/lib):
perdition -M /usr/lib/libperditiondb_mysql.so.0 --query_key "\d" -m
"<dbhost>:<dbport>:dbPerdition:tblPerdition:perdition:perdition"
(substituting <dbhost> and <dbport> by you db hostname and port)
2. Modify your transport table so that the string smtp and localIP
are
in diferent columns. Then you create a view concatenating them for
the
postfix query. A bit more complicated but easier to maintain when you
have lots of domains and servers.

I have the database dbPerdition created including the table
tblPerdition;
mysql> SHOW tables;
+-----------------------+
| Tables_in_dbPerdition |
+-----------------------+
| tblPerdition |
+-----------------------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)
mysql> DESCRIBE tblPerdition;
+------------+--------------+------+-----+---------+-------+
| Field | Type | Null | Key | Default | Extra |
+------------+--------------+------+-----+---------+-------+
| user | varchar(128) | NO | PRI | | |
| servername | varchar(255) | NO | | | |
| port | varchar(8) | YES | | NULL | |
+------------+--------------+------+-----+---------+-------+
3 rows in set (0.00 sec)
Remark:
Re NULL
ether NOT NULL or NULL
Null field can't be blank.
But can't figure out what data will be edited on the table.
Now I have 3 mail servers and 1 routing mail server running on the Xen
box.
Routing mail server;
hostname/servername =
xen12.satimis.com
local IP = 192.168.0.212
Mail servers;
1)
hostname/servername =
xen08.satimis.changeip.net
local IP = 192.168.0.208
2)
hostname/servername =
xen09.satimis.dnsalias.com
local IP = 192.168.0.209
3)
hostname/servername =
xen10.satimis.com
local IP = 192.168.0.210
Please shed me some light. TIA
B.R.
