[PERDITION-USERS] OE POP3 timeout: "server has unexpectedly terminated the connection"

Dear Perdition list. One of my clients have been having the following error happen continuously: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'xxx.com', Server: 'mail.xcxx.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F They are trying to POP about 105 messages but this appears after only about 25. The above error would occur and then the same messages would be downloaded again. Ad infinitum. When I pointed the client directly to the mail server there was no timeout so I think I can conclude that the destination server (Dovecot POP3) is not the culprit. My rough timings have shown that the connection dies after about 60 seconds which seems very telling.
