Hi all,
I am new to using perdition and am unable to run it. I have followed
the basic installation instructions and installed perdition but
without support for the various kinds of dbs that are available (I
don't need any complex db options). When I run perdition binary it
doesn't output anything and the prompt returns (I've tried different
command line options including debug but there is no change). I
suspect that I am missing something very basic like maybe some
configuration option etc or something related to db.
I want to use perdition in a very simple way --- there is one fixed
imap server
to whom every request is sent. Can someone list down the steps I need
to do in order to run perdition (steps after configure, make and make
install)?
Have you read the logs? Have you tried something like strace -fFo
/tmp/perdition.debug /path/to/your/perdition ....? Is SELinux enabled
(if it is, try setenforce 0 and then start perdition) or are you using
Linux at all? :-)
Best regards,
