So I want to have:
some1(a)user.com to server1: imap
some1(a)user.com to server2: pop
some2(a)user.com to server3: imap
some2(a)user.com to server4: pop
The MySQL config has three fields:
user, port, hostname,
I dont seem to be able to see or understand how to make some users go
to different place depending on the connection type.
ie: imap connections to this server on that port and pop to this on
that port...
can anyone explain?
Hi Jonathan,
sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
I can think of two options available. First would be
to twiddle the query_key option to perdition. This
will alter what perdition uses as the key for the database
lookup. Or in other words, what it tries to match in the "user"
column.
The other alternative would be to have the MySQL use different tables
for POP and IMAP.
In either case you'll probably need to pass slightly different
configuration options to the perdition instances running
IMAP and POP.
