I'm not familiar with imap idle. But perdition is just a proxy.
It can do some (semi-)smart things at authentication time. But
after the user is logged in it just blindly passes data back and forth
between the end-user and the real-server.
I suspect that imap push will work fine with perdition, because
its just part of the imap protocol, and perdition ought to be able
to handle that - as long as it involves users logging in and then
doing something (anything) else that the real-server understands.
But perhaps I am missing the point.
