Hi,
I am testing perdition-pbs and I am not sure how the information should
appear in the popauth.bd. I see that the IP address of my external
machine that I used for IMAP4s access is being added to popauth.db (but
there are some extra characters on it):

The sendmail map lookup always fails for the key, but the IP is on the db.
map_lookup(popauth, POP:XX.XX.XX.XX, %0=POP:XX.XX.XX.XX) => NOT FOUND (0)
check_rcpt returns: $# error $@ 5 . 7 . 1 $: "550 Relaying denied"
Please would perdtion-pbs work with Sendmail 8.14 and the sendmail
POPAUTH hack from sendmail.org?

I am trying to get my perdition install to talk back to my exchange 2007 system. I can see
to get it to work if i first hook the iphone to the internal wifi and get the exchange box
as the mail server, and then change it to be the imap proxy. If i don't do this then
I get invalid password.
Secondly I just did a fresh install of my test box and now perdition is trying to send
imap port 143 to the exchange instead of 993. Used the same config file as before. Any
help is greatly appreciated in this.

part is working great at this moment. Are you testing PBS as well? Any
luck with PBS?

Thanks. Actually, it started working after the update of the Berkeley
DB; and I am not sure what was wrong anymore.
I was not able to get that working with my Exchange server port 587,
though. I found a work around, using the information from the db to
allow relay via a sendmail server.
And yes: using the perdtion-pbs --mode list I was seeing the timestamps
for the entries in the DB file :)
