Thanks. Actually, it started working after the update of the Berkeley
DB; and I am not sure what was wrong anymore.
I was not able to get that working with my Exchange server port 587,
though. I found a work around, using the information from the db to
allow relay via a sendmail server.
And yes: using the perdtion-pbs --mode list I was seeing the timestamps
for the entries in the DB file :)
Are you using the HACK('popauth') ruleset for sendmail? I have not tested
it, and I'm not sure if its out of date, but it looks like it should work.
