[ULTRAMONKEY-USERS] ldirectord dont find config file

Hi list,

i've get the following error:
ResourceManager[23609]: ERROR: Cannot locate resource script ldirectord

in the haresources i have:
myhostname xxx.xxx.xxx.176/24/eth0  ldirectord

i tried also:
myhostname xxx.xxx.xxx.176/24/eth0  ldirectord::ldirectord.cf
myhostname xxx.xxx.xxx.176/24/eth0  ldirectord::/var/ha.d/ldirectord.cf

same result.
the file resides in /etc/ha.d/ldirectord.cf AND /etc/ha.d/conf/ldirectord.cf 
(read in a very short gentoo howto)

chmod of the files in question is 644.

i have another error, which may be a followup error or the orgin on the 
problem:
ResourceManager[23609]: ERROR: Resource script for ldirectord probably not 
LSB-compliant.

ldirecotrd.cf reads:
checktimeout=10
checkinterval=2
autoreload=no
logfile="local0"
quiescent=yes

virtual=xxx.xxx.xxx.176:80
        real=10.1.1.203:80 gate
        real=10.1.1.204:80 gate
        real=10.1.1.205:80 gate
        service=http
        request="ldirector.html"
        receive="Test Page"
        scheduler=rr
        protocol=tcp
        checktype=negotiate

Any help would be much appreciated,
