Hi,
We are using the "Streamline High Availability and Load Balancing"
and have created 2 VIP on the eth0 interface. Everything work fine. Client can
access both real server using the 2 VIP.
However, there exist a problem on the real server which don't have ldirectord
start up.
server1:6083 server2:6083
ldirectord
Suppose client on a third server is connecting to server2:6083 through one of
the VIP. netstat on server2 show that 6083 has a ESTABLISHED connection. When
the client is killed, we expect that the ESTABLISED connection will disappear
at server2. However, it still exist for over 1 minute before FIN_WAIT can be
seen. As there are many clients making connection to the VIP, too much of
established connection will be a problem to us.
This will not happen if we just use 1 VIP on eth0. Any idea why this happen?
Thanks.
Eric
